Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are adding a new chapter to their cannabis story with their first California Dispensoria in Forestville.

According to the company's October 8 announcement, the Sonoma County location brings the Cheech & Chong retail brand together with locally owned In The Tree Apothecary. The shop combines Northern California cannabis with herbal products and a community-focused approach.

For Marin, the California debut also has a family connection: his daughter, Jasmine Marin, serves as the company's creative director and helped shape the space.

The store features products from regional growers and makers alongside Cheech & Chong offerings. An outdoor garden and design elements inspired by the duo's entertainment history add to the setting.

The company scheduled an October 24 grand-opening celebration with a meet-and-greet featuring both performers.

After decades of comedy, film and cannabis advocacy, the Forestville location gives Cheech & Chong's cultural legacy a new local home, and puts an independent Sonoma County operator alongside one of the industry's most recognizable names.
