1. Who we are

MarijuanaPressRelease.com is operated by Diplomat Holdings Group LLC (Georgia, United States). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What is active today

Visitors can read the Website without an account. Customers can submit press releases, product and travel announcements and event listings online as guests, without creating an account, including uploading images for editorial review. Paid packages are paid for by card through Stripe, our payment processor. When you submit, we create a private status link so you can check your order, and we send transactional emails about your submission, payment and review, and alert our administrators to new orders. Our online contact form remains closed; if you email us, we receive the information you include in your email. The sections below describe what we collect and how we use it.

3. Information we collect

  • Contact form (when open): your name, email address, subject and message, and whether your message is a personal-data deletion request.
  • Publishing and event submissions (when open): contact name, email address and organization details; the content you submit (headline, text, images, links, event details); the package you selected; your confirmations that you are an adult, are authorized to submit for the organization and accept our Terms; and the submission's review status and history.
  • Payments (once ordering opens): payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly. We receive the payment status, amount, currency and transaction reference. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Status links: when you submit, we create a private status-tracking link. We store only a scrambled version (a hash) of its code, not the link itself.
  • Security and anti-spam: to prevent abuse, our forms use a hidden spam-trap field, check how quickly a form was filled in, and limit how many attempts can be made. For the limits, we store a one-way scrambled code (a hash) derived from your connection's IP address, together with attempt times, rather than the address itself.
  • Administrator accounts: our staff sign in to manage the Website. Customers and readers do not create accounts.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver and secure the Website.

4. How we use information

We use it to:

  • review, edit, publish and manage submissions;
  • respond to messages;
  • process payments when payments are available;
  • send messages about your submission or inquiry, when email notifications are enabled;
  • protect the Website from spam, fraud and abuse;
  • meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

5. Published information

Content you submit for publication, including any company or media contact details you choose to include and consent to publish, becomes public if it is approved and published. Do not include information you do not want made public.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. We use only what is necessary to run the Website: administrator sign-in data stored in the browser, and a small display-preference cookie in the administrator area. When you open a checkout, Stripe, our payment processor, may set its own cookies and collect device and browsing information to prevent fraud and keep payments secure; see Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first.

7. Service providers

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Website, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • Website hosting and database: our hosting provider stores and processes the information described above.
  • Payment processing: Stripe processes payments, including card details and fraud-prevention checks, under its own privacy policy.
  • Email delivery: a third-party email service sends transactional emails to customers and administrators about submissions, payments, refunds and editorial review. Our business mailbox is provided by our email hosting provider.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

8. How long we keep information

  • Contact messages: 12 months from receipt.
  • Spam-prevention records: 30 days.
  • Abandoned submissions (started but never paid or completed): 90 days.
  • Completed submissions and payment records: as long as necessary for accounting, tax, legal compliance and disputes.
  • Published articles: while they are published, with internal archival records kept afterward.

An automatic daily clean-up removes spam-prevention records older than 30 days and contact messages older than 12 months. Abandoned submissions are flagged for staff review and removal once they are 90 days old. We may keep specific records longer when they are subject to a legal hold, an unresolved request or dispute, or a legal obligation. Editorial review and payment histories are kept as permanent internal records to maintain an accurate audit trail.

9. Deletion and other privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask questions about how we use it. Use the Contact page and mark your message as a personal-data deletion request (when the form is open), or email us. An administrator reviews each request, may ask you to verify your identity, decides what can lawfully be deleted, and records the outcome. We may be unable to delete information we must keep for accounting, legal or dispute purposes, or that is part of published content or our audit records; if so, we will tell you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.

10. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), staff-only access to private records and other safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Children's privacy

The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Submissions are accepted only from adults acting for an organization. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International visitors

The Website is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and possibly other countries where our service providers operate.

13. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
